TRAIN HOW YOU RACE, RACE HOW YOU TRAIN
This philosophy, when applied to the sport of triathlon, is in my opinion – the best way to prepare yourself to achieve your personal best. By approaching each training session with purpose, intensity and effort – athletes can avoid ‘training in the grey’ and become better prepared for races to come. Success does not come easy in triathlon, but through customized and periodized training, testing and recovery – every athlete can and will see improvement.
This is where TRI Tampa Bay is different from most triathlon coaches. Most offer very limited one-on-one training and personal contact. They limit phone calls and emails and MAYBE actually workout with you once in a blue moon. They feed athletes canned workouts and training plans and simply tell them to go do it. While this may work for some, the vast majority of people will respond better and achieve results far faster (and superior) by truly having a coach work with them each step of the way. This is our goal at TRI Tampa Bay – to make you the best you can be by giving you the highest levels of service, training and education possible in the sport of triathlon.
